In order to give the client a brief overview of our approach to project management, we have below outlined a typical approach.
Based on our staff resumes, we will put together a project management team consisting of one or more of the following resources.
- Client/Project team contact:
The team contact person is responsible for managing all contact with the client. To keep the project on schedule and avoid communication problems all project related issues must be managed through the team contact person.
- Project manager:
The project manager is responsible for internally managing the project to meet the production schedule and budget constraints.
IT-Serve approach all projects with a comprehensive Project Management approach ensuring that the customer is satisfied at all times and no “surprises” are encountered that can have an impact on the clients business or investment. All risks are carefully documented along with an often overlooked “roll-back” plan, or how to get out of trouble if the identified risk should occur. Full Risk Exposure is compiled with the stakeholders to ensure all contingencies are met.
Project Management Methodology
IT-Serve projects usually center on quality and specification based projects, as this allows you an easy update and reporting link through one designated, qualified and trained IT Project Manager and allows us to track and monitor project progress and costs. IT-Serve uses the PRINCE2 methodology, a proven incorporating the British Standard Guidelines for Project management (BS6079).
